Re: Rebreathers in Sydney

Have a chat wit Baz at SXD, He's a nice bloke.

It seems mainly Inspo's, and and a few prism's or Kiss in sydney.
SXD is the only real location that's tooled up for Rebreather's in the area.

If you're looking for club, there's an active BSAC club with 4 Rebreather users, (5 soon with a bit of luck (me)). The social side is good with weekly beering, and a combination of shallower and deeper dives.

There's plenty of shore diving around too if you like.

Ps. Flog the tanks if you're open circuit, and be prepared to replace them spending significantly more than in the UK, and yearly hydros, (they're much cheaper to do here)

Stock up on dive tat as well, it's all steeper here, with no significant web competition, and lots of RRP prices -Ouch.

It's warm and sunny 'though, and you'll eat like a king.

Rump on special is three pounds a kilo, fillet full price is thirteen quid a kilo.

Good Luck.
