Re: Evolution HP hoses?

Hello, I am a new evo diver with about 30housr on my unit. Noticed last weekend after a dive that i had tiny white spots on both of my HP hoses. A closer look revealed that the spots were actually tiny bubbles.

I understand that all HP hoses have perferations aprox 20microns in size to allow gas to evenly leave the hose preventing an huge BANG in the event of a failure. Is this true?

I assume the hoses are bad. Just wondering if anyone else has had issue. Thanks for any feedback.

Tony,

Are the bubble fizzing out of the hose or are they surface bubbles you see on the hose in an evenly spaced line that are not under pressure? More than likely what you are seeing are pin*****s in the outer layer hose which are caused by the wheel that runs the print on the hoses. If that is the case it's nothing to worry about.
