I'm working in the US this week, and I've just bought myself a new Luxfer S006 to replace my bulky 1.5 ltr argon bottle.

What the best way to fly home with this bottle. Is it enough to demonstrate that the valve is open and the check in counter, or do i need to remove the pillar valve?

Advice and recommendations please.
