Why not design a pressure vessel where you can just throw that cell holde? You need to build electrical connections to the cells, overpressure/bleed valve and a valve to add oxygen. I think it is not wise to stress the actual Rebreather head.

You can remove the sensor carriage but you can't disconnect the sensor cables from the head. Hence a plug to dis/re connect. The plug on the sensor end could plug into a receptacle in the pressure pot.
