Re: Evolution HP hoses?

Tony,
first thing I'd do is put the pressurised hose in water, brush off any bubbles and then see if they re form under the water. it may just be that you let the hoses warm up and the small amount of air in the holes expanded to give you a small bubble.
If they are both going at the same time on a relatively new unit, I would sugest a quick call/email to AP would be in order.

Hello, I am a new evo diver with about 30housr on my unit. Noticed last weekend after a dive that i had tiny white spots on both of my HP hoses. A closer look revealed that the spots were actually tiny bubbles.

I understand that all HP hoses have perferations aprox 20microns in size to allow gas to evenly leave the hose preventing an huge BANG in the event of a failure. Is this true?

I assume the hoses are bad. Just wondering if anyone else has had issue. Thanks for any feedback.
