I don't dive with a dive comp just use a bottom timer and tables which works for me most of the time. The problem start when i dive beyound 99mt the limit of my BT.
I would be interested to know what other rebreather divers are using to measure depth (100-200mts range) apart from a VR3. Also does any one make a bottom timer that goes to the above depths.

I remember being told that some old UWATEC D-timers would read past 100m. When we took ours past 100m, one stuck at 99.9m and the other one at 00.0m. They also had a problem counting past 99min dive time (if I recall correct)
However, I have taken Aladin Pro/Nitrox units past 100m that continue to read just fine. They loose the decimal however, so you only get whole meters. I have also taken SUUTO Vypers, HS Explorer and NiTek He units. They also work.
If I were to buy a unit just for reading past 100m, I'd get any of the new SUUNTOs that can go into gauge mode. I think the GEKKO is the cheapest option, but I am not 100% sure on that...
