Re: Stolen rebreathers?

All joking aside, this does bring up a tangent question worth discussing. I claim near total ignorance of how hard this would be but:

Would it be possible for a page/ section to be added to this site where members could post pertinent info re stolen rebreathers? One VERY useful function might be to have a viewable database of serial numbers of units that have “gone missing”. It would make quick work for someone wondering if the used rig they are considering for purchase has questionable parentage.

An expanded section could give more details such as location & date of theft and a detailed description of rig, i.e. the subtle differences from other rigs of same make & model. Anyone could post, but only administrators could remove.

This sort of info seems to currently be posted hit or miss in various threads. Idea is to put it all in one easily checked spot with serial numbers prominent.

Thoughts?
