I don't know if this idea has merit or not, so I'll open it up to the masses.
We as a rebreather comunity are very good at publicising stolen rebreathers and making them un-saleable, we are also good at publicising the fact that these are life support equipment and are liable to kill you if used without training.
However this may well lead to potentialy dangerous equipment being dumped. Is there any merit in setting up some way that anyone who knows the location of a stolen rebreather can report it anonymously?
