Hi Mark,

No, you do not need to calibrate each dive, though I would suggest each time you change your O2 would be prudent.

You do not necessarily need the kit and can flush the loop with pure O2 if you wanted, like the Hammerhead, unfortunately you lose loads of O2 by doing that, so the kit IMHO is a must.
