Re: Strobs and shot lines

Hi Mate i ha 6 of the top red strobes, they work just fine. I use cave line and a double loop which is very easy to work with.




We always put strobes on the shot when station diving and i generally put my one closer to the wreck the less viz there is and further away with more viz.

With 10m viz Ill put it 8m up the line. I judge this by the point at which I can see the wreck when descending the shot.

In low viz i put it within 1-2m of the wreck.

Our shots are always tied in so there is little or no possibility of the shot being pulled well off the wreck but watch out for this situation.




On dark but good viz dives the strobe is excellent for finding your way home (it worked well for me last week ) but in average or less I always lay a line.
