Help Re-sealing Seams on a Trilam ????

Hi All
Hope someone has got an answer to this.

My Mares Trilam Drysuit is sick, all the internal "seamtape" has perished and hence the suit has pin hole leaks all over it through the stiched seams. Now I have begun to remove all the tape and let me tell you it is a nightmare job with the heat gun, and will soon have all the seams clean and ready for sealing, the material of the suit itself is in outstanding condition.

So my question.. What should I seal the seams with ?

A few repair place's have said half a dozen coats of Aquaseal starting with a Cotol mix to water it down and get it deep into the seam and then build it up in layers?

I saw a DUI suit today that looked like it just had one THICK layer of Aquaseal or some other type of glue/sealer over the seams, anyone know what this is?

So thought I might ask and see if anyone had had any success with a full Seam seal job in the past and what worked best on Trilam.

I would not bother, but being a dive bum I have no money for a new suit for winter and the Mares was a freebie.

Cheers
Chris
