| Re: blogs: comment spam Not sure what blogging software is being used to run the blog here, but most support text verification (not sure if that is the right term) which is the annoying thing where commenters have to type a string in that appears in a picture. I have not seen an automated method to get around the decent versions of this yet. OCR isn't good enough to do it in general.
This prevents automated spam (most of it). If some human wants to post a link to a v1gra site, then they still can. In most cases, the comment spam should stop immediatly.
