| Re: hidrofobic menbrane Hey Guys
I was diving the kit on Sunday and after a ugly attempt to remove and replace my kit in a dry suit I flooded the loop because I wanted to keep my kit negative (opened and closed DSV). After I got the rig back on I cleared the water in the loop and finshed my dive. When I got home I opened the case and found that I had about a cup full of water in the canister and 1/4 to 1/3 of the sodasorb was flooded. It looked like wet oat meal. The piont I want to make is the hydropbic membrane worked awesome. I was very impressed with it's performance and I would highly recommend it to Boris owners. I also completed a open circuit bail out early in the dive so I know I put some water in the loop very early in the dive (opened and closed the DSV controlling the ascent) . The dive was 90 minutes, 80 feet of water, water temp 45 degrees. I only had a very very slight taste of the sodasorb.
