| Hi from Downunder Been lurking here for a while, getting info on what is available and what is practical. Learned to dive on a Dolphin a couple of years ago and then promptly didn't use it until just recently. Just starting to get into cave diving (cav/sinkhole qualified at the moment), and have a buddy who is hasseling me to dump my OC and get into a CCR. Did one dive on a prism and thought I was going to die. Have been a scuba instructor for nearly 10 years and very much felt like it was my first time in the water. No buoyancy, rapid ascents, much worse then I remember my SCR training being. Three hours later. no longer afraid of moving, still not real comfortable, but getting better.
Next step is to look at what CCR to use mainly for caves, (Cocklebiddy beckons here in WA). Thanks in advance for your answers to dumb questions.
