FWIW, I'd say dont do it;

Most people cant figure out if they really like a unit until quite a few hours of operation (20ish)
You'll need a refresher in all likelyhood, maybe a whole new course (due to downtime)

If you want to have a splash, various people arrange unit try-dives, which might give you a quick and dirty feel.
