Newbe rebreather is a sailboat cruiser

I am a PADI certified divemaster and have numerous different certs. I am Nitrox certified and have done a few nitrox dives. I also have two Nitrox computers. I have been looking at a few rebreather websites and am very interested in getting one when I am done doing this contract up here in Canada. My boat is located in Dana Point California. I see that the Megalodon is very popular with the cave divers but really see a lot of excitement on the new Evolution. My background is in nuclear power plant maintenance and redundant backup systems are the norm for important to safety systems. I don’t plan on becoming a full fledged cave diver because there are too many different types of diving for me to just focus on one. I do like the electronic controls and displays that the Evolution provides. I wouldn’t need to stay down for the duration times allowed by using the Megalodon. I do plan on doing some cruising on my sailboat and would probably carry several spare bottles for various dives. Do you guys have any insight into the best rebreather for a guy cruising around on a sailboat?
