I agree the welcome message takes up too much prime space and isn't really needed for members. New members get a welcoming e-mail anyway, and maybe we can tackle that next.

I suggest that the Stats, while impressive, could move further down the page, too. I also support the idea of having regular members listed as top posters, not RBW staff. Same with the Random Destination, they're free promo for the operations as much as for our data base. But they could be further down the page but expanded with a Newest Destination.

Move the Online Users into the space now occupied with the Stats and the Recent Threads will be right below the User CP and thus visible when the page first loads (unless maybe you're at 640 x 480 resolution ).

I still believe the library and gallery are top notch features, especially the former. So moving the Featured Articles up enough to add a gallery selection or newest images and have at least the headline bar visible would be good. Maybe even have a gallery selection with a combo of one random image, the latest one, and the most popular picture.

Anyway, my two cents.
