Hi all, this is a great resource and I am glad I found it.
My name is Luiz Rocha, and I've been diving open circuit for 15 years, including lots of deep air diving (200-250 feet). Well, I got tired of having to carry all those tanks (not to mention N2 narcosis) and decided to join the rebreather world
. I work for the University of Hawaii, and will be diving here with pioneers Richard Pyle, Brian Greene, Dave Pence and John Earle. I haven't decided which rebreather to buy yet, so I will be searching the forum soon. What we do is deep reef exploration to study how different the fish communities are down there.
