Whereas Mr Decoweenie never trys to justifys any of his purchases, he just buys everything to compare first then sells the bits he doesn't like!!!
Trying to justify spending money on diving in general is fairly pointless, however justifying why you bought/plan to buy a certain piece of gear over another is always worthwhile... if to no one else but yourself sometimes.
The build report that started this thread was as good a piece of advertising as the Boris has, I seen it at shows and underwater and it evidentally works but seeing the detail and care thats gone into the design was very interesting. One reason you missed was this thread- its as good a reason as any other!
Lastly I think we should raise a glass
to Ant's misses for excepting "safety" as a reason to spend $15,000 instead of $10,000 on what is our hobby!
