Re: We finally took the plunge!

I am sure you will be happy with your decision. The Evolution with a spare set of cylinders is what I am using.

The Evo will go a long way - I have been doing dives to over 80m without a problem. The next weekend you can do simple recreational photography dives and the small size and low weight come into it's own to make it so easy to dive with. The integrated deco and the one screen controls is everything you say. It is very intuitive and very simple to use. One glance and everything is right there on the one console. Once you gain confidence with the unit, the HUD gives you the ability to know that everything is fine or if something is wrong. Makes it easy when you are task loaded such as taking photos or crawling through a wreck.

The spare set of cylinders means you can mix and match dil and get a whole weekend's worth of diving in without having to top up.

Good luck and hope you don't have to wait too long for them to arrive.

BTW - There is also a new version of software to fix the little niggles that were present in the last version of software.
