Crazy duck you would not be able to use the 350 with the DX3000. The DX3000 does not allow the use a standard sync cord. You must use a fiber optic cable. The strobe would fire in slave mode after being signaled by the internal camera flash on the DX3000. The problem is the 350 is not set up to connect with these fiber optic cables. Sea & Sea has a few "digital strobes" which are designed to work in this fashion.

What other digital cameras are you considering using the strobe with???

I will check on pricing and get back to you. Also, I think there are better, smaller strobes that will handle your needs, be more versatile with todays digital cameras and, new they will be similarly priced to the used 350.
