Re: Have any of you tried this?

hi steven it would be very hard to machine in the lugs but i can be done, im working on a fix for these dsv's but im snowed under working on kiss meg stands and a new project to be relised very soon......
also if your having problems getting a negative test then remove the 4 locking screws that hold on the second stage and put a little bit of ptfe tape on the threads or a very small oring on the screw, as this is a cause of a lot of the problems as the screws are the wrong side of the sealing o-ring
i think you have the same dsv as me. it also locks solid in cold deep water!
kind regards john routley

I think I received one of the the latest Nemotech DSV's from Filip, and I just took a picture of the second stage.

Unfortunately it's not easy to machine these kind of lugs in - so they are not there. The small bar (2) should prevent the lever from unseating, but then you never know.

When doing maintenance, it may be wise to remove the lever with great care, so it gets not bent further open than necessary.

Thanks John for the tip - nice to know this.

Steven
