| Re: Lithium 9v battery? One of the aspects of my job has me playing with 9 volt Lithium cells in wireless audio transmitters. These are at times exsposed to salt water, ( damn actors) and both 9 volt and electronics get drenched. I've never seen a Lithium 9 volt go up in smoke. However, it isn't in an O2 rich enviroment, the battery is removed usually within 5 mins although it has gone as long as half an hour, and I've never noticed the 9 volts to be hot. Lithium batts are used in other rebreathers, I have used lithium 9 volts in other dive equipment without problem. |
