Next thing you know he'll need a Firemegstinguisher.
Actually, w/ the right connections, the lithium 9 volt battery makes a viable “save a-a-dive” battery for the Meg. I’ve built the appropriate harness and it works. It and a sealed 9 v lithium battery now reside in my save-a-dive kit. Caveat: I’ve got APECS 2.01 electronics.

The numbers: The 5 AA cell battery pack currently being shipped w/ Meg is advertised as a 2800 mah pack that will last 25 to 50 hours. An alkaline 9 volt will have about 400 mah. The product spec sheets I’ve seen on most 9 volt lithiums claim 1200 mah of energy. Do the math and a lithium 9 volt battery gives you a full 3 day weekend of diving.

FireMegStinguisher? OK Stefan, ya got me. I test dived (dove?) it this evening. UW pics later. For now: Do I have the only Meg rated to put out Class A, B, and C fires?
