That could be part of the problem as well, we'd just gone for a dive (shallow, to test out leaking bucket) and had the following discussion;
SHMBO: What do you do for bailout on the rebreather
Me: No problem, I've got this air 2 thingy
SHMBO: So what about me?
Me: There's a whole sky full of air 8 metres above you - that's closer than I normally am anyway
I like the ultrasonic cleaner idea - and I really have the perfect excuse now anyway. "But honey, you didn't like me using your toothbrush, I was just thinking of you". Well done Steve. It's not like I was getting any for the next couple of days anyway...
