I am looking at changing from OC to a rebreather, probably a second hand Inspiration.
I would like some advice on what to look for exactly, what to pay and what options to look for?
There is one on ebay at the moment that was also listed last week and received no bids, I'm sure most of you have seen it but it's here anyway;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/API-Inspiratio...QQcmdZViewItem
It says it is large wing an harness what size would this fit?, or should i say I'm 5.7'' and 11 stone will this be too large. What would be the ideal size? Also what are the additional patches for, would you rig them up from say two stages?
The ideal size for you would be medium, the patches are for connecting off boad gas addition valves and therefore allowing you use external dilluent sources.
If so is this something to look at getting fitted?
Only if you are going to need different dilluent sources for deep diving on trimix etc.
Also it says that there is a 4th cell fitted is this read to go by the looks of things or will it need further modification?
Only a VR3 that that is enabled to use this and a cable, you may also nee a cell
Also is it worth fitting the VR3, i know some people are not happy with them but i am, never had a problem with it.
The VR3 is not fitted as such, depending on the type off fitment the cell is either inside or out the head. They newer way of doing things is to put the cell inside the head with an extended cell holder and fischer connector. This makes the calibration easier as all the cells are in the same environment. The problems are usually associated with calibration. In short it can not hurt to have an extra monitor if it is a given.
Sorry for so many questions all at once!

As with any high value item on Ebay buyer beware.Get the serial numbers and check with APD in Cornwall. This forum has a lot of advise on this and scams are usually spotted by the eagle eyed mob here abouts!
If it needs a service, find out the cost as this can add to the ready to dive price.
