This has happened to me a lot. I got a batch of dusty sorb that in spite of my best efforts still got dust in the scrubber. Sometimes it would make me cough at depth and in doing so a bit of gas would make its way into my stomach. On land you don't notice, but when that 100ml of gas has entered your stomach at depth it has a habit of expanding when you ascend.

It has to go somewhere.
