Contributing to a Wiki might make you feel good but it is only as good as the worst item in it which, on the average net wiki, is prety dire. If you can tell the good from the bad you probably knew it already.
Yeah, that's my take on it too. For the most interesting bits of information I'll wager it remains pretty accurate and cutting edge (best, most recent info in the item) but for the things that don't get daily attention from a wide audience, a whole bunch of crap will get in there with no real oversight on its quality.
