I don't dive an Azimuth, so take my comments with a grain of salt.
The size and weight places the Azi in the same category as full sized CCRs.
It should serve you well locally, but will be a pita to travel with.
Pro and con of weight.
The Azi has hands down the nicest scrubber in production, as well as one
of the better performing ones. Some of it's features are neat, the large handle
on top (also weight for supposedly excellent balance), the thumb ridge on the DSV, the little stand. Nicely integrated bailout that can be used in the loop or
OC. Very nicely finished accesory kit and case.
Price is high for unit and spares, but it is a civilian unit of a military design.
You can get a mCCR for about the same (list price, anyway).
Disadvantes are the same as all cmf SCRs as mentioned above.
If you decide on one factor in the need and price for an O2 monitor
(Oxygauge, intergated deco computer or the like).
Oh, and welcome to Rebreather World.
