the vr3 uses a bend and mend model like has been used for decades... BTW there are lots of medical experts in the UK that have ripped the vr3..

Don't run it at zero conservatism..

Its popular because for an intergated He computer there are only 2 choices the Explorer and the Vr3..

If you wanbt to do po2 and have full switching control again only the explorer and vr3..

If you dont care about manual switching you now can add the Cochran, if you dont need po2 then you can add the nitek He.. There arent lots of choices...

From personal experience, when i have tried to run the vr3 at 0% I felt like crap afterwards.. If I follow an RGBM or even a 10/100 GF profile, I get out of the water alot faster thhan a proplanner/vr3 profile and feel great.. The shape of the deco cureve makes all the difference...

Alot of people I know that use the VR3 add in a very slow ascent to compensate for the lack of regular deep stops.
