Cora 2

Hi everybody,

just a short note about the new rebreather from seaway CORA 2.

CORA 2 will be shown at the "BOOT 06" the first time to the audience.

The CORA 2 has several modes, all modes can be change just by changing the upper lid.

The mods are:
  • SCR I, just one mix over orifices
  • SCR II, two different mixes switchable (over two orifices)
  • mCCR -(KISS Style)
  • eCCR

SEAWAY will also integrate an CO2 Sensor (1. CO2 Sensor out to the market) with integrated pPO2 Display. For each mod (depends on the lid) you have one upto tree O2 Sensor. The modular scape let us use any standard jacket. (Best from Seaway and have at least two buckles or is a Backplate type).

Cylinders are individual and possible from one 4 liter (40cuf) upto two 12 Liter (80cuf), for the CCR Modus there are also smaller ones possible.

The outer housing of the scrubber is made of V4A stainless steel, for the scrubber there is an isolation agains the cool water in the canister integrated.

This rebreather is developed for low price entry level to the rebreather diving and can grow with the divers experience and needs.

The scrubber volume is variable (from 1 kg upto 3,5 kg).
The Counterlung is OTS and direct connected to the scrubber canister. the other end will be fixed on the shoulder bands. The CL is protected with an Cordura hull. The CL has easy and quick releases for cleaning and drying. There a tree sizes available.

The mouthpiece is one hand operable and smooth.

The price for the base modell (SCR I) (exclude Jacket and cylinders) will be 1800 euro

I will send more pictures and desciptions when the BOOT starts.

Holger
