While it's maybe a useful plastic card, if you have trained through to CCR level 3, then you have worked on redundancy, self rescue, dive planning, rescued other non responsive divers as part of your TX course (or should have), completed dives with various failures and dive with enough redundant equipment to ensure you can finish a dive in most every forseeable way.
Having to go through it all again is somewhat OTT. anyway, the last 3 trips away I did solo dives, and one of those was in Queensland!
