| Re: Why do you dive solo? Although I'm happy when off in a world of my own, I normally dive with others, but we tend to be 5-15m apart, less if the vis is lower than average UK.
I'm the most experienced and qualified of the group I usually dive with so if I lose a buddy I'm more worried about them than I am myself. I've dived solo a few times, hopefully I will again in the future, but I'm not adverse to diving with buddies.
I don't have a particular reason for going solo, but circumstances sometimes conspire to make it desirable or necessary.
