It has to go back to Uri, there is a programming port which is intended to be permanently sealed, we have left it temporarily sealed to allow adjustments. Once we have it sorted it will be sealed up. (Soon)
Yes, no reason you couldn't have the smithers code if you wanted. I understand you could also have 2 different systems programmed and switch between them, which is tempting but introduces the possibility of accidentally toggling between the systems.
