The HS explorer dive computer will also record your PO2 if connected. Currently there is no Rebreather with the ability to track actual CO2 in the loop. The vision electronics tracks scrubber stack temperature which shows the diver where the reaction is currently at, but its not basing it measurments on amount of CO2. There are currently several folks designing and building CO2 monitors for RB's, its only a matter of time. Do a search for "Tom Rose"

I have been thinking about a measurement device, sort of a cockpit data recorder for the CCR diver and not only should it record PO2 and CO2, but cylinder pressures, depth, diver vitals, like heartrate, respiration rate, maybe oxygen perfusion through a pulse oximeter. The Polar series of monitors might be adaptable for this process, they are wireless now, but maybe need a different RF to work underwater. The data recorder would have room for maybe 24 hours of data and when any two things stop moving, its freezes the recording so the data will be not written over should the diver not be found soon enough. If we dont learn the mistakes that can be made, we cant teach ways around them.
