| O2 Narcosis
I know this has been done to death on other boards but my experience and other Rebreather divers I talk to is this: when diving in a reduced O2 loop at depth such as running your unit in SCR bailout mode drill, then increasing the po2 as in when you complete the drill there seems to be a noticable perceptual increase leading me to believe O2 does not contribute to narcosis as much as nitrogen at least at the PPs we normally see. You will never get some OC divers to admit this but many RB divers who have experienced this have arrived at the same conclusion as I did. So my question is.......
Is O2 narcotic?
