Re: Dive planning

I use desktop software (GAP) to plan my dive too have a rough idea of how much deco I will incur and more importantly to ensure I carry enough bail out to cover my asse if I need to come off the breather.

I then use a HS Explorer and RGBM and my Shearwater Meg which is GF to actually dive.

Basically the Explorer and RGBM controls my deep stops and my shearwater GF usually controls the shallow stops and I always clear both of them as it make me feel safe - if one failed then I would follow the other one but either add in some deeper stops or slightly longer shallower stops.
