Re: MyDecoPlan.com - New build available

One quick observation is that although I selected Metric there are still cubic feet references throughout the page.

Is there any way of taking the programme offline?

Can it be saved as a self contained flash presentation on a USB drive for example?
1) Metric - Yes, there are still some imperial references - I haven't worked on them because I was focused in other places (like the iPhone version ) - I will be making another round of changes for metric in the next few days.

2) Yes - It can be used offline, but I haven't packaged it that way yet. I've have others ask for it, and all that is needed is a quick zip of app and it will run locally just fine (*no* connection to the Internet needed)

3) Same answer as #2

wrt Cfm... no idea what they are Litres please?

(a) With regards the Wreck/cave option- any chance we could drag the bailout point back and forth along the planned bottom time and watch the bailout profile change?

(b) Seeing as you have the option of showing multiple profiles any chance of an option to compare 5min longer and short, then 5mtrs deeper and shallower overlaid for comparison?

(c) Similarly how about comparing different mixes- what if I deco on 70% instead of 80% for example?

(d) Maybe have a list of profiles and select which ones to compare on the profile panel?

(e) Last thing- any way of inputting tanks into the bailout/gas planing side, eg- Selecting bailout gases by mixture and size/pressure (80/0-7/230) then the Bailout Gas usage section could warn you if you exceeding the bailout carried on a certain profile?
(a) I'd been thinking about a good way to do the bailout for Cave/Wreck, and came to the same conclusion you did - Allow the person to select the bailout point. This makes sense in cave because of flow (might take 70% getting in and 30% out (Ginnie anyone ), and for wreck, a sneak dive might take you to a wreck that is 300m away from the shore entry, but in an emergency, you could ascend - Not that anyone would ever do a sneak dive on CCR

Let me work on this and see what I can come up with.

(b), (c), (d) Actually, that was the point all along - That is the reason the for the combo box on the chart so that as you entered plans in the left, you could select which ones to chart (and thus see them overlaid). The idea is to enter many plans and allow you to chain them together with surface intervals (or not, if you just want to compare things). This will start working once I finish the multiple dive entry.

(e) That is a good idea... I think I'll add that.

(a) A depth increment smaller than 10m (metric version). Selecting a bottom depth every 10m is a little bit frustrating for deep dives.

(b) A user-selectable depth for the last stop.
(a) You can already do this - INstead of clicking the "Add" button, type in the value in the box - It's MUCH faster to enter plans this way too - Simply type 220/25-10/50-1.3 and it instantly shows the plan.

(b) This is coming.

Thanks for all the feedback guys!
