Re: Support U.S. Legislation to Stop Shark Finning

Let me put in another vote for Sharkwater as recommended watching for all divers. Whilst I deplore the slaughter of any animal in a cruel manner it is the sheer scale of the slaughter of sharks that is truly horrific; I would go so far as to say it is bordering on genocide. Having worked as a fishmonger for 10 years and actively worked to change fishing practices for the better I speak from experience having witnessed the marked decrease in catches. And this is from a "managed" fishery with minimal poaching.
