Been diving the DR 500 LED for about 6 months now - excellent!! IMO it out performs the light cannon HID hands down. I have the cord running over my shoulder through the velcro attachments on the lung, the base is attached to my plate.

Its a nice compact powerfull set up and with great lakes diving it sure cuts through the dark.
