Ben, If your hands are the same size as mine, you might want to do this to the counterlung case holes:
I could NEVER get my hands in there - The ENTIRE time I've owned my KISS I have always removed the head to remove the counterlungs. This means unscrewing the O2 line and the DIL line, and unplugging the head. For me, it takes less than a minute, and is WAY easier then trying to futz with the lungs with the head in place. Also - The added benefit is that putting the CL's back in is MUCH easier this way.
