Solenoid diagnosis?
Any help gratefully received - my HH Inspo appears to have a faulty solenoid. I.e I don't hear the solenoid firing . I have taken the head off, connected primary and turned on - I assume the primary will trigger the solenoid? If so, nothing happens. Can anyone advise what diagnosis (apart from "send the head back") I can do locally to ascertain if the solenoid is faulty or of there is an obscure setting not noted in the manual?
I've tried both Standard and Juergensen settings. I last dived the unit one month ago with no problems then.
Cheers
Hi,
You can put a voltmeter on the contacts of the solenoid, you should read 6V and then around 3V.
To trigger the solenoid, just unplug two cells. Even in OC mode it will fire the solenoid to maintain a 0.19ATA PpO2.
