I don't think the volume of air would be effective after it left the hoses. There is a significant "back pressure" generated by the elbows, hose and the mushroom valves. I'll try it today and let you know.

As mentioned above, another alternative would be to put a p-port adapter on a fan and run the fan without the hoses attached. You could use a higher volume fan in that case.

I find that leaving the cover off and wiping out the excess water that collects in the bottom of both lungs dries the lungs effectively in a days time.
