With the new Delrin handsets, what is the recommended method for cleaning inside the battery compartment and the cap spring.

Should Deoxit be used or just a mild detergent and brush/cloth etc?

Just interested in what people are doing, as there are a couple of small discolourations inside one of my handsets I want to clean up and couldn't find anything in the manual.
