Re: Which rebreather has best trim

I dive my Kiss Classic with a 4 lb head weight and have raised the mounts and dropped my AL 19s down about 3" and put pvc caps on the top for better trim while caving. The caps are more streamlined and are just high enough to protect the tops of the hoses. You can also put some soft weights in the caps if you need more head weight. Lowering the tanks also makes the valves easier to reach. I use a Dive Rite Nomad double bladder wing and side mount my side bottles with a butt plate that trims out very well. The Nomad allows you to crimp down the top of the wing to help with the head weight.
