If you want some easy diving that can be alot of fun, try Grand Cayman... Divetek will rent cylinders and sells sorb..

I use GC frequently for training... The water is warm and clea and offers justr about any depth... even right offshore...

The temp varies between 26c and 30c depending on the time of year... You dont generally hit the thermalcline until deeper than 100m
I'd vote for GC too - TIna and I completed our air dil (MOD1) training on CK there a few weeks ago.

At DiveTech, rebreather bottle rental (2 2L steel cylinders w/Inspo valves) was CI$40 for the week, and oxygen fills were CI$12 each. 40cf bailout bottle was CI$28 for the week (includes stage rigging but not the regulator). Each day of boat diving (2-tank trip) was CI$80. Anc check out their price on Sofnolime - we ended up taking our own to save a few bucks.

Keep in mind that you'll probably be on a normal recreational boat. DiveTech's daily schedule doesn't accommodate rebreather profiles. You'll be limited to two dives of 60 minutes each with a 45 minute surface interval. But if you do get enough rebreather divers together, you may be able to get something different. You'll need to make those arrangements well in advance.

For boat diving, the chance of being blown out is low, though if there's a strong wind from the NE or thereabouts, the choice of dive sites will be limited. We wanted to start out with shore dives, and had a very strong NE wind so the only available entry was in West Bay. Its a LONG swim to get to the reef from there ...
