Guys, your are really not doing a very good job with protecting the intellectual capital of the Optima team. I know that Eric might very well bring forth an argument saying there is no intelligence to be protected but I will let him start his own thread on that matter.
My point is that should the boat go down so to speak the entire brain trust of the Optima team would be wiped out in one swoop. Have you considered the ramification of this possibility? Diverite would need to file for chapter 11. R22D and Extendair sale would plummet. Richie would need to find a new object of his affection. The Meg mothership would move in and immediately fill the void created. Laws would be passed outlawing any future use of red and black in SE Florida.
I assure you this post is not meant to give Eric any nefarious ideas but rather to point out the inherient risk and lack of foresight in your dive planning. I would immediately fire your HR Manager for failing to point this glaring fact out to you and the CEO should immediately circulate an all points bulletin regarding the new policy of how many Optima divers can be in such a risky situation at one time.
