Hi,

I'm using GreenForce diamond backups. They are well built lights, multiple O-rings and take CR123 batteries. They are twist on lights. My fiance uses the Intova LED light. Same batteries but uses a magnetic switch instead of twist on. They have proven to be rugged and bright. The magnetic switch eliminates the possibility of flooding through the switch. The beam is a little less focused than the GreenForce but they are half the price. I have included links below.

Hello Everyone,

I must revise my post to give all members a heads up. I just returned from Mexico, my wife and I did the full cave course. Amazing course, very challenging. Anyways, about the lights. I was using the GF diamond backup and my wife, the Intova LED. The Intova is 3 times brighter than the GF. Being in a cave and having a GF as a backup would make me nervous. Not a bright light at all and very scattered. Plus, they cost twice as much as the Intova. GreenForce makes a great primary light and I have no complaints about those but I would not purchase another backup unless they do some major upgrades.
