Buttplates!

Hi all,

I want an attach a buttplate to an Evolution without having to replace the standard harness.

The GolemGear Armadillo has 2 eyelets and looks like could be fitted in 2 ways:
1: Drill two holes into the bottom/back of the plastic case and fit the butt-plate to it with two quicklinks.
or
2: There's a 5 inch wide velco strip attaching the bottom of the harness to the bottom of the wing. I could loop webbing around this with two quicklinks hanging off - but might be a bit wobbly.

The DiveRite buttplate (as per the Transpack harness) has webbing loops for 2" waistband as well as eyelets, but sitting here I can't remember if the Evo waistband goes all the way around or simply stops where the weight pouched start?

One interesting alternative is simply strapping a large double d-ring to the crotch straps as per this rebreatherworld link:

Any advice or comment would be great.

Cheers,
Matt
