"Effect on Scrubber Endurance on Storing Soda Line in CF Rebreathers"

Whilst the actual storing of soda lime is nothing new, the effects of ice on a rebreather & the effect of reduced duration of a scrubber's total time when conducting multiple dives on one fill may be interesting to those interested.

I had similar problems this winter with my Inspo regarding freezing. While preparing for a dive on a very cold day I had both my manual add valves freeze solid in the closed position due to moisture remaining from cleaning the unit after a dive a couple days previously. I had to sit in the water at the surface for several minutes before they freed up and I could dive.
